Very insightful. There's a lot to be learn
and I believe that in terms of principals,
this is universally applicable. In terms of
the module, of course you have to think
how you can adapt this given module to
particular circumstances and into a given
political,economic and social context.

The seminar is the brainchild of the Prime Minister who has envisaged a platform
where the Government of Malaysia can share its transformation journey, encourage
exchange of views and best practices, and most importantly, enhance its diplomatic
ties with other countries around the world.
The 4 day seminar has been designed and planned to ensure participants will gain
maximum benefits and valuable insights into our country's transformation experience.
During the seminar, we will showcase the achievements of our Government Transformation
Programme (GTP) and Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) to date, explain the
Big Fast Results (BFR) methodology, share Minister scorecard and key performance
indicators (KPIs), elaborate how we conduct target-setting, monitoring and evaluation,
and so forth. In addition, there will be break-out sessions during which participants
will have a chance to test the BFR methodology.
The first seminar, which took place from 21st to 24th November 2011 in Westin Hotel
Kuala Lumpur, saw the participation from various countries including South Africa,
Tanzania, Botswana, Nigeria, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, and many more.
